Support for the Wild Manes

 

My love for horses started in my childhood, so naturally, when I discovered Return to Freedom, a wild horse sanctuary in Lompoc, I was thrilled and shocked to find out the plight of these beautiful creatures. Return to Freedom is a nonprofit organization that gives a safe home to hundreds of wild horses.

 

Personally, I was excited to see the horses, but also wanted to support the organization's efforts so I went on one of the tours - a three hour photo safari, hiking up to the ridge to be among the herds. I would like to bring awareness to this magical place that has such great energy and commend the owner and the staff on their proactive effort to protect and preserve our remaining wild horses.

 

There are many events going on at the sanctuary, including walking tours, movie night at the barn, and photo safaris.
